I can't imagine using a huge cable like that to transfer information from my tiny cell phone when i can do what i need with a USB 2.0 (soon a 3.0!) cable. I imagine this, along with some of the other obscure features promoted by HDMI, will never be used to its full advantage and some other mode of cabling will hit the market that will make these "benefits" of HDMI obsolete.
